Bryce
Kuhlman
first set foot on the magical path at the age of eight when he suggested
that the local young magicians' club start doing public shows. He
spent the next fourteen years creating and performing magic all over
the country, accumulating numerous local and national awards. In 1992,
while attending a magic convention, he met Tobias Beckwith and Jeff
McBride ... a meeting that was bound to change the rest of his life.
Later
that year, he attended the first Magical Mystery School, an experiential
magic retreat created by Jeff McBride and Eugene Burger. Over the
next eight years, Bryce's magical focus moved from performing to
helping organize and create magical experiences such as those he
found at Mystery School.
Technology
has always been the other main passion in Bryce's life. In 1996,
he finished a Bachelors Degree in Engineering-Physics with a specialization
in robotics. A Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering followed
18 months later. Always the one to work on the coolest projects,
he's been involved in everything from epileptic seizure detection
to educational multimedia products to simulation of the large scale
structure of the Universe.
After
a two-year stint designing satellites for a large corporation, he
decided to combine his two passions and start his own company. He
continues to work on only the coolest projects including designing
and creating high-tech magic illusions, web design, and building
the Future Temple of the Magi.
